MAAC Celebrates National Girls & Women in Sports Day
Edison, N.J. (Feb. 5, 2020) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) joins its member institutions in celebrating the 34
th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
A movement celebrated annually for over three decades, NGWSD honors the achievements of female athletes, coaches and leaders and continues to promote the theme of “Lead Her Forward” by acknowledging the power of sports to unlock limitless potential in women’s sports.
The MAAC proudly sponsors 13 women’s sports, which includes the support and development of the league’s student-athletes.
