Niagara’s Kuakumensah and Quinnipiac’s Warfel Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Greg Kuakumensah, a three-year letter winner, is averaging career-highs in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, field goal percentage and blocks per game. He has increased his scoring by 7.8 points per game, doubled his total rebounds from last season and is shooting a team best 50% from the field. His versatility on the court has helped the Niagara Men's Basketball program increase their conference win total by 3 games so far this year. The Worcester, Massachusetts native has posted a GPA of 3.6 or higher in the last three semesters and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer & information sciences. 
 
Paige Warfel
Quinnipiac University
Women’s Basketball
Senior Paige Warfel posted 12 points and 30 rebounds in two games for Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball last week. The Pennsylvania native had a career-high 18 rebounds against Marist on Saturday, making her one of just eight players nationally to record at least 18 rebounds in a game last week. Warfel’s season total of 291 is the fourth-highest single-season total in Quinnipiac’s DI history.
