Siena’s Tebbano and Canisius’ Lucarelli Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

A three-year member of the Saints junior Anthony Tebbano began his second year as the team's starting goalkeeper in 2020, getting the nod in all six matches on the year. The Clifton Park, New York native recorded 82 saves and a 15.45 goals-against-average in 2020, while ranking third in the MAAC and eighth nationally in saves per-contest with 13.67. Tebbano's final performance on the season featured a career-best 21 save performance on March 10 against Fairfield. Away from the field, Tebbano holds a 3.37 cumulative GPA, and recorded an impressive 3.91 mark for the Fall 2019 team, earning him a spot on Siena's President's List. The biology major was a member of the MAAC Academic Honor Roll for the 2018-19 season.

Women’s Lacrosse
Senior Riley Lucarelli recorded her first career goal on a free-position attempt in the Golden Griffins win over St. Bonaventure on March 11. The defender also registered two ground balls, two draw controls and one caused turnover in Canisius’ dominating 17-7 win over its Little Three Rival. On the season, the captain ranked second on the team with seven caused turnovers, highlighted by a career-best four and a season-high three ground balls against Merrimack on Feb. 15.
