MAAC Announces 2020 Water Polo All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J. (April 29, 2020) – A total of 62 student-athletes have been named to the 2019-20 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Water Polo All-Academic Team.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Iona College and La Salle University were the top achievers in the classroom, leading the MAAC with 11 All-Academic selections each. Wagner College followed closely with 10 representatives. Marist College followed with nine All-Academic selections. St. Francis Brooklyn and Siena College both named six student-athletes to the list. Virginia Military Institute had five All-Academic selections and Villanova University was represented by four student-athletes to round out the All-Academic Team.
