Nick Grabek

Baseball
Junior Nick Grabek hurled a perfect ninth inning to earn the save at Stetson in what proved to be the Stags’ season finale. He needed just 12 pitches to retire the Hatters, including one strikeout. In total, Grabek did not allow an earned run on an extra-base hit in six innings of work in the 2020 campaign. Grabek is a double major in International Business and Finance in Fairfield’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business. He is a MAAC All-Academic Team student-athlete.

Alana Evans
Iona College
Softball
Evans made her return to softball in 2020 after missing the entire 2019 season due to injury. She registered a punch out in all four of her appearances this season, striking out a season-high 10 hitters in a loss vs. Stony Brook in her final start of the year. The redshirt senior's career accolades include six MAAC Pitcher of the Week selections, First Team All-MAAC honors, Preseason All-MAAC honors, a Pitcher of the Year award (2017) and a no-hitter.
