Quinnipiac Women's Golf Earns WGCA All-Scholar Team Award

Team Posts 4th-Best GPA in Nation

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's golf team posted the fourth-highest team grade point average in all of Division I during the 2019-20 season, earning All-Scholar Team distinction from the Women's Golf Coaches Association, the organization announced today.

The Bobcats recorded a stellar 3.947 team GPA to rank fourth in all of Division I. Quinnipiac was also fourth in team grade point average in all three NCAA divisions combined. 

Last week, the following seven members of the Bobcats were also honored with Scholar All-America distinction individually from the WGCA for their individual grade point averages of 3.5 or better.

"These golfers work extremely hard in the classroom," said head coach John O'Connor. "They come to Quinnipiac for the outstanding education they receive first and foremost. They happen to be great golfers in addition to outstanding students."
