Rider’s Bay and Quinnipiac’s Goldring Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student Athletes of the Week
EDISON, N.J. (Sept. 30, 2020) – Rider University’s Taner Bay and Quinnipiac University’s Kelsey Goldring have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Men’s Soccer
Bay is a two-year starter in the Broncs’ midfield and a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree. He finished second on the team in assists with three as a sophomore in 2018, leading Rider to its third MAAC Tournament Championship in four years. Last year, he added a goal and two assists. A biochemistry major, Bay has achieved in the classroom, posting a 3.84 grade-point average.
Kelsey Goldring
Quinnipiac University
Women’s Soccer
Goldring is a redshirt senior on the women’s soccer team. The forward earned ECAC Rookie of the Year and MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year honors in 2017 and was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2018 and 2019. She captains the Bobcats while also being a part of the Quinnipiac Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In her sophomore year, she led the team with 14 points on six goals and two assists. Off the field she is currently in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Quinnipiac.
