Player of the Week
Mikala Morris, Quinnipiac
So., Springfield, OH/Kenton Ridge
Morris recorded a pair of double-doubles in a road split at Rider. The sophomore leads the league with 6 double-doubles on the year after posting 19 points and 11 rebounds on Friday, followed by 17 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday.
 
Morris, the league leader in points per game, shot 40 percent from the field on the weekend and added five assists and four blocks to her stat line. She is 23rd nationally in total blocks and blocks per game.
 
Rookie of the Week
Caitlin Weimar, Marist
Fr., Cortlandt Manor, NY/Hendrick Hudson
Weimar set a new career-high when she led Marist with 19 points, and added her third double-double of the season with 11 rebounds to help Marist complete the sweep of Niagara on Saturday. The rookie was 8-of-13 from the field in that game, and had more offensive rebounds (6) than defensive boards (5). She also earned three steals. On the week, Weimar shot .588 from the field, averaging 12 points, 8.5 rebounds, and two steals. This year, Weimar is third on the team with 10.4 points per game, and leads the MAAC with a .530 shooting percentage.
