Women’s Swimmer of the Week:
Katrina Wardner, Niagara
Gr., Orchard Park, NY
 
Katrina Wardner had a fantastic start to the 2021-22 season, winning four events in Saturday's tri-meet against Binghamton and Siena. Wardner won the 50 free (24.52), 100 free (53.33), 200 IM (2:10.90) and was also a member of the 400 relay that helped seal the win over Binghamton for the Purple and White.
 
Women’s Diver of the Week:
Sydney Sarkis, Niagara
Sr., Pittsford, NY, Pittsford Sutherland
 
Sarkis recorded a Niagara women's swimming program record in the 1-meter dive with a score of 251.55. She also recorded a score 215.40 on the 3-meter board. The senior helped Niagara defeat Siena and Binghamton to start the season 2-0.
