EDISON, NJ (Oct. 28, 2021) – A total of 121 student-athletes comprise the 2021 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Iona College led all schools, placing a league-leading 23 student-athletes to the All-Academic Team. Rider University followed with 18 selections, while Marist College earned 16 and Siena College placed 12 to the team. Monmouth University added 11 student-athletes, Canisius College and Quinnipiac University each named 10 to the list, followed by Manhattan College with a close nine honorees. Fairfield University added five student-athletes to the squad, with Saint Peter’s University and Niagara University rounding out the All-Academic team with four and three representatives, respectively.
