EDISON, NJ (Oct. 4, 2021) – The Electronic Gaming Federation Collegiate League (EGFC) fall season kicks off today at 4:30 p.m. when FIFA and Chess matches take place. Five MAAC institutions are slated to play FIFA matches this afternoon.
Ten MAAC schools field at least two teams in the EGFC which hosts matches in Chess, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. MAAC schools will also be competing in the League of Legends, Riot Collegiate League later on this year.
The MAAC will once again be working with Mainline and using their Tournament Management System (TMS).

Defending MAAC Champion in Rocket League and Overwatch, Marist College, will be in action this week in both games. Marist will start their title defense in Rocket League when they take on Niagara University at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, and then take on Rider University at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 in Overwatch. Siena College will also start their MAAC Title defense in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate when they take on Canisius College at 4:30 on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
