Florence Vaillancourt scored twice in the Purple Eagles 3-1 win over Marist last Wednesday to help Niagara secure the No. 3 seed. The junior moved into first in the MAAC with 13 goals, while adding to her conference lead in points. The match was also the juniors third multi-goal game this season.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Havrilla, Iona

Senior Emma Havrilla notched her fifth consecutive win and sixth shutout of the season with Iona's 1-0 win over Rider this past Saturday. She faced eight shots, making all three saves to earn the clean sheet. Iona finished tied for fourth, earning the No. 5 seed in the MAAC Championship after being selected to finish 10th in the league's preseason poll.
 
Rookie of the Week
Autumn Smith, Marist
Fr., Westport, CT, Staples
 
Smith registered an assist in Marist's lone contest this week at Niagara. She played all 90 minutes and also had a shot on goal.
