The Iona College women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in a 67-45 victory over Winthrop on Saturday night at the Hynes Center. Iona was carried offensively by double-digit scoring efforts from Ketsia Athias (10), Juana Camilion (15), Isabelle Lipinski (10) and Shyan Mwai (13).

Manhattan College Women's Basketball beat Army West Point by way of a double-digit victory on Saturday night. The Jaspers would earn their second non-conference win with a decisive 75-55 outcome in Draddy Gymnasium, bring their record to 2-0 overall. The Jaspers were paced by Junior guard Dee Dee Davis who set the standard with 23 points on the evening. She would also add five rebounds, four assists and a steal to her night's resume.

Senior Mackenzie DeWees tallied game-highs of 19 points, 11 rebounds and six steals to lead the Quinnipiac women's basketball team to its first win of the season in a 79-50 victory over Central Connecticut Saturday afternoon inside of Detrick Gymnasium. Junior forward Mikala Morris added 15 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore guard Halee Smith scored a career-high 10 points off the bench.

Despite a career-high 25 points from sophomore Dani Haskell, Binghamton outscored Canisius 31-12 in the fourth quarter, propelling the Bearcats to a 73-56 victory in non-conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon. Along with her 25 points, Haskell had five rebounds and a team-high four assists. She was also one of three players with a pair of steals for Canisius (0-2).

The Rider University women's basketball team fell behind by as many as 18 points, Saturday afternoon, before fighting back to force overtime, but ultimately fell at La Salle 67-58. Lenaejha Evans scored a game-high 20 points for the Broncs.The Broncs fall to 0-2 after the setback, while the Explorers even their record at 1-1.
