EDISON, NJ (Nov. 16, 2021) – Four out of the six Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) men’s basketball teams in action on Friday picked up victories, highlighted by Manhattan’s “Battle of the Bronx” comeback win, while Marist, Quinnipiac, and Rider each secured its first wins of the young season.

Five Bobcats scored in double figures for the second straight game, leading Quinnipiac men's basketball past Holy Cross, 76-68, on Monday night at the People's United Center in Hamden. Kevin Marfo stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, while Tymu Chenery recorded a team-high 14 points, Dezi Jones added 13, Matt Balanc scored 12 points, and Tyrese Williams chipped in with 11.

Manhattan dropped their first non-conference game of the season by a score of 79-58 to Old Dominion on Monday. Josh Roberts paced the Jaspers in scoring with 13 points and six rebounds on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field and Samba Diallo added 11 points.
