Canisius dropped their Saturday evening contest against Duquesne by a final score of 57-43 at Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, NY. Sophomore guard Dani Haskell scored a game-high 18 points and tied her career high for rebounds with seven for Canisius (2-4). Senior forward Kayla Jackson posted her fourth double-digit rebound game of the season, hauling in 11 boards.

The Rider University women's basketball team fought for the first half against host Lehigh at the Christmas City Classic Saturday afternoon, but a strong third quarter by the Mountain Hawks proved to be too much to overcome for Rider, falling 69-44. The Broncs drop to 0-4 on the season, while Lehigh improves to 5-1. Three Broncs finished in double figures with Raphaela Toussaint leading the way with 13 points.

The Saint Peter's University women's basketball team lost to the NJIT Highlanders by a score of 67-61 Saturday afternoon in the NJIT Wellness and Events Center. Kendrea Williams scored a game-high 19 points and Kassondra Brown recorded her second double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Siena Saints played in their first game at the UHY Center on Saturday afternoon, and fell just short of victory, dropping their contest to the Duquesne Dukes by a final score of 59-49. Leading the way was an 11-point effort from fifth-year Rayshel Brown, followed up by a 10-point game from fellow fifth-year Selena Philoxy. Philoxy, making her Siena debut, also added six rebounds, six steals, and a pair of blocks.
