EDISON, NJ (December 22, 2021) – Siena’s Amari Anthony and Niagara’s Justin Roberts have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Men’s Basketball
Roberts is averaging 7.1 points per game, 1.9 rebounds per game and 1.2 assists per game so far this season. He has played in 10 games and started in two. He has made 15 3-pointers and is shooting 86 percent from the free throw line. Roberts is working towards a graduate degree in sociology.
Amari Anthony
Siena
Women’s Basketball
A four-year member of the Siena Women's Basketball program, Amari Anthony has appeared in 76 career games with 47 starts as of December 16, 2021. The Winchester, Virginia native has averaged 7.3 points and 4.0 rebounds throughout her career, and is currently second in scoring with 9.3 points per-game during the 2021-22 season. Anthony tied her career-best with 22 points against North Dakota on November 30. A Preseason All-MAAC Team selection prior to her junior season, Anthony has been a part of the team's community service efforts, including serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany and Adopt-A-School visits, throughout her time in Green and Gold.
