Lou Lopez-Senechal led a trio of scorers in double figures to hold off Marist, 57-52 at Alumni Hall in Fairfield, CT. Senechal scored 18 while Rachel Hakes contributed 12 and Andrea Hernangomez tallied her fifth career double-double with 10 points and 17 rebounds. For Marist, Trinasia Kennedy tied Senechal for a game-high 18 points and Kiara Fisher helped with 17, but Fairfield’s lead was too match for the Red Foxes to overcome.

Monmouth’s Stella Clark scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Hawks over Iona, 64-55 in each team’s MAAC play opener. The Hawks trailed the Gails by three entering the fourth quarter, but Monmouth would outscore Iona, 20-8 to capture the victory. Jen Louro added 15 for the Hawks. Iona had two players score double-figures: Katsia Athias with a career-best 20 points and Juana Camilion who contributed 18 points for her season-high.

Mikala Morris recorded her fourth double-double of the season to lead Quinnipiac over Rider, 64-60 on the road. Morris contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds to go along with double figures from Cur’Tiera Haywood (13), Mackenzie DeWees (13), and Sajada Bonner (10). For Rider, Jessika Schiffer scored a game-high 22 points while Lenaejha Evans added 13 and Makayla Firebaugh contributed 10 to the Broncs’ scoring efforts.
