Junior forward scored a team-high 15 points, while junior guard Sajada Bonner added 14 points and three steals to secure the Bobcats' second consecutive victory.

Tied 56-56 with three minutes to play, the Rider University women's basketball team outscored NJIT 8-3 down the stretch to earn its first win of the season Wednesday night. Lenaejha Evans scored a game-high 22 points and Raphaela Toussaint put up 17 points to help pace the Broncs’ scoring attack. Rider shot an outstanding 89 percent from the line (23-26).

Canisius had four players score in double figures, but its fourth-quarter comeback attempt fell short against Duquesne at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon, 69-60. Freshman guard Lydia Gattozzi tallied a season-high 15 points while adding four rebounds and a pair of blocks. Senior guard Erika Joseph added 12 points and tied her career high with seven rebounds.

Three members of the Fairfield University Women's Basketball team reached double figures but it was not enough as the Stags fell to the UMass Minutewomen, 74-61 on the road. Sam Lewis and Callie Cavanaugh tied for the team lead with 14 points, with Cavanaugh logging a career-high 40 minutes. Lou Lopez-Senechal would score eight of the Stags’ 16 points in the final quarter, but it was not enough to overcome their deficit.

The Jaspers fell to Wagner, 54-50 on Wednesday evening, their first loss since November 20. Brazil Harvey-Carr scored a game-high 15 points while Dee Dee Davis recorded 12 points of her own. Courtney Warley grabbed nine rebounds in the contest helping Manhattan outrebound Wagner (39-31). The Jaspers also recorded 17 steals to the Seahawks’ seven.

The Marist women's basketball team was defeated by Lafayette by a final score of 53-50 on Wednesday night. Zaria Shazer tied her career in points, and set her career high in rebounds (19). Shazer’s 19 boards was just two shy of the program record, set by Stephanie Del Preore at Rider on Jan. 31, 2004. This was Shazer’s fourth double-double of the season.

Niagara dropped their non-conference contest at the University at Buffalo on Thursday afternoon, 95-55. Angel Parker finished with 15 points and Maddy Yelle scored 13 points in the loss. The Purple Eagles shot 79 percent from the line compared to Buffalo’s 67 percent.
