Fairfield earned their first road win against Quinnipiac in eight years as they defeated the Bobcats 66-62 at the People's United Center. With the win, the Stags increase their MAAC record to 2-0 for the third-straight season and the Bobcats fall to 1-1 in conference play. Lou Lopez-Senechal scored a game-high 26 points and Sydney Lowery recorded her first career double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) to lead the Stags. Quinnipiac’s Mackenzie DeWees scored 14 and Sajada Bonner added 12 points in the Bobcats’ loss.

The Marist women's basketball team earned its first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference victory of the season on Monday night with a 61-49 win over Iona at McCann Arena. Marist’s Kiara Fisher led all scorers with 17 points and Trinasia Kenneday added 10 points for the Red Foxes. Shyan Mwai scored 12 points off the bench to lead the Gaels, Olivia Vezaldenos contributed 11 points in the loss.

The Monmouth women's basketball team wrapped up its 2021-22 non-conference slate with a 76-63 road victory at St. Francis Brooklyn on Monday night. Monmouth trailed by two, 48-46, late in the third quarter before outscoring the Terriers, 18-6, over a six-minute stretch to build what proved to be an insurmountable lead. During that run, six different Hawks got into the scoring column as Monmouth made 9-of-13 shots from the field. Kayla Richardson scored a career-high 21 points, Belle Kranbuhl added 16 points and 7 boards, Kaci Donovan contributed 11 points, and Jania Hall recorded 10 points for the Hawks.

The Rider University women's basketball team jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Broncs never trailed Monday night, in a 59-43 win over Siena at the UHY Center in Loudonville, NY. Three Broncs scored double figures on Monday night including Lenaejha Evans (18 points, 5 rebounds), Makayla Firebaugh (14 points, 5 rebounds) and Raphaela Toussaint (12 points, 6 rebounds). Rayshel Brown scored 12 points in the loss for Siena. The Saints resume their non-conference schedule on Wednesday at Syracuse at 2 pm, while Rider takes on Niagara University on December 30.
 
The 2021-22 campaign culminates with the 2022 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 8-12 at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
