MAAC Announces Official Ball Deal with “The Rock”

EDISON, NJ (December 6, 2021) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced today extension of “The Rock” as the official ball of the conference for the 2021-22 basketball season. The deal will make “The Rock” the official ball sponsor of the 2022 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships in Atlantic City and the MAAC ESPNU regular season television package.
 
“We are proud to be Official ball sponsor of the MAAC and we are looking forward to a great basketball season,” Senior Vice President of Collegiate Select for BSN Sports Bill Stote said.
 
“The MAAC is excited to continue to use ‘The Rock’ as our official basketball again this season, MAAC Associate Commissioner for Men’s Basketball Jordan Confessore said. “’The Rock’ is one of the most trusted names in the industry.” 
 
The 2021-22 campaign culminates with the 2022 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 8-12 at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
