The Fairfield University Stags had their best shooting night of the season as they shot 52 percent to beat the Iona College Gaels, 69-52. The Stags led 29-27 going into the half and quickly extended their lead by scoring the first eight points of the second half. Lou Lopez-Senechal scored a game-high 22 points for Fairfield, Sam Lewis went 6-of-12 from beyond the arc for all 18 of her points, Callie Cavanaugh added 16 and Andrea Hernangomez grabbed 10 boards in the victory. For the Gaels, Juana Camilion scored a team-high 12 points with Ketsia Athias and Olivia Vezaldenos who each added 10 points.
