Three Purple Eagles recorded double-digit scoring numbers, led by Angel Parker with 18 points en route to a 76-71 win over visiting Cornell Saturday afternoon at the Gallagher Center. Maddy Yelle and Lore Porter added 12 and 11 points, respectively to help Niagara defeat the visiting Big Red. For the first time under head coach Jada Pierce the Purple Eagles are 3-0 at home to start the season.

Tied 55-55, Makayla Firebaugh knocked down a jumper with 24.7 remaining and the Rider University women's basketball team hung on through a wild final sequence for a 59-57 victory over Army West Point Saturday afternoon. It's the second-straight victory for the Broncs, who improve to 2-5 on the season, while the Black Knights see their four-game winning streak come to an end, moving to 4-3 on the season.

The Saint Peter's University women's basketball team beat the Delaware State Lady Hornets by a score of 77-50 Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall, fueled by a total team effort. Graduate guard Kendrea Williams led the team with 16 points, as every member of the team registered at least one minute of playing time.
 
The 2021-22 campaign culminates with the 2022 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 8-12 at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
