Rider’s Toussaint, Canisius’ Gattozzi Earn Hercules Tires Women’s MAAC Basketball Weekly Awards

Toussaint had back-to-back double-doubles to lead the Broncs to a 2-0 week. Against NJIT, she had 17 points to go along with 10 boards. In Rider's win over Army, Toussaint had 13 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high four assists.
 
Rookie of the Week
Lydia Gattozzi, Canisius
Fr., Chardon, OH, Beaumont
 
Gattozzi scored a season-high 15 points in 23 minutes of action in a loss at Duquesne. The Chardon, Ohio, native made six of her 12 field attempts, going 3-for-7 from 3-point range. She added four rebounds and two blocks — both of which were also season bests.
