Quinnipiac’s Gay, Manhattan’s Preckajlo Earn Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards

At BU's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, senior Aisha Gay broke the Quinnipiac school record in the 300m, placing first in the event with a time of 38.77. She also competed in the 4x400m relay, recording a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:55.64.
 
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Alexandra Preckajlo, Manhattan

Graduate Student Alexandra Preckajlo took home two first place wins in the shot put and weigh throw at the Bill Ward Invitational reaching a new personal record in each with a shot of 14.11m and a weight of 17.77m. On the day, Preckajlo's weight throws were 17.36m, 16.23m, 17.77m, and shot putts measured 13.82m, 13.37m, 14.11m, 13.50m.
