Caverly controlled both ends of the floor in Quinnipiac's weekend sweep of Fairfield. The junior totaled 35 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds in the pair of wins, in addition to shooting a torrid 8-of-14 from long distance and playing 78 of 80 minutes.
She tied a career high with four three-pointers in each game and shot 60 percent from the field overall, scoring her 35 points on just 20 shots. The transfer from UVM now has eight double-digit scoring performances this season.
Rookie of the Week
Belle Kranbuhl, Monmouth
Fr., Boonville, NY/Adirondack Central
Freshman Belle Kranbuhl averaged an impressive 15.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game this week. In the win over Saint Peter's on Sunday, the rookie registered a career-high 20 points (9-11 FG) and 16 rebounds. On Saturday, she added 11 points (4-8 FG) and eight boards. Kranbuhl also blocked 11 shots on the weekend.
