Player of the Week
Mackenzie DeWees, Quinnipiac
Jr., Westminster, MD/Manchester Valley
DeWees once again led Quinnipiac to a weekend sweep with two well-rounded efforts against Monmouth. The junior averaged 15 points per game, including a 20-point effort on Saturday afternoon. DeWees shot a stellar 12-22 from the field while adding 12 rebounds, eight steals, and five assists (zero turnovers).
 
The Maryland native reached the 500-point, 300-rebound, and 150-assist milestone in the sweep.
 
Rookie of the Week
Belle Kranbuhl, Monmouth
Fr., Boonville, NY/Adirondack Central
In three games this week, freshman Belle Kranbuhl averaged 12.0 points and 9.3 rebounds. She registered two double-doubles, including 16 and 12 in the win over Siena and 10 and 10 at Quinnipiac. Kranbuhl shot 60.7% from the floor and also added 10 blocks.
