Player of the Week
Maggie Baker, Quinnipiac
Jr., Huntington Beach, Calif. / Huntington Beach
In four matches for the Bobcats, Baker recorded 81 kills and 42 digs. She also tallied two double-double's between the two doubleheaders for Quinnipiac. She recorded 5.4 kills per set and 2.8 digs per set to open the season.
 
In the doubleheader vs. Manhattan, Baker had 19 kills and a .417 hitting percentage in the Quinnipiac victory. In the second match, she had 20 kills and 17 digs for her first double-double of the season. She also had three aces in the match.
 
In the two matches vs. Canisius, the Huntington Beach, Calif. native matched her career high kill mark with 25. She also had 10 digs for her second double-double of the season. In the second match she tallied 17 for the Bobcats to round out her strong week of play.
 
Libero of the Week
Georgia Via, Fairfield
Fr., McKinney, TX/ Frisco Independence
Georgia Via led the Fairfield back row from the libero spot in Sunday's doubleheader sweep at Iona. She averaged 6.86 digs per set, bolstered by 32 in the four-set opening match. Via also served up an ace and had a pair of assists on the day.
 
Rookie of the Week
Chloe Ka’ahanui, Quinnipiac
Fr., Honolulu, Hawai'i/Punahou School
In three matches played for Quinnipiac, the first-year setter totaled 87 assists and 31 digs, totaling 10.88 assists per set and 3.88 digs per set. She also had two double-double's for the Bobcats.
 
In two matches played against Manhattan, the Honolulu, Hawai'i native had 24 assists and 10 digs, good enough for a double-double in her first collegiate match. In the back-half of the doubleheader, Ka'ahanui had 34 assists and 12 digs, giving her another double-double on the day. She had three aces split between the two matches.
 
In one match against Canisius, she had 29 assists, nine digs and two kills for the Bobcats.
