Defensive Player of the Week
Brendan Krebs, Manhattan
Sr., East Williston, NY/ Chaminade
Posted a .682 save percentage with 15 saves in leading Manhattan to a 11-7 win over Detroit Mercy. In the decisive second half, registered 10 stops, including six in keeping the Titans off the scoreboard in the third period. On the year, has a .667 save percentage with 14.7 saves per game and a 7.33 GAA.
Offensive Player of the Week
Kyle Gucwa, Manhattan
So., Pottstown, PA/ Bishop Shanahan
Scored a game-high five goals with an assist in leading Manhattan to a big 11-7 win over Detroit Mercy. After the Jaspers fell behind 3-0 early, Gucwa scored back-to-back goals. In the second half with the Green & White up two, the Keystone State native scored three of the next goals in capping a game-clinching 7-0 run. On the year, has scored a team-best seven goals.
Rookie of the Week
Connor Macrae, Monmouth
RFr., Middletown, NJ. / Christian Brothers Academy
Connor Macrae registered his first-career hat trick in Monmouth's 13-12 victory over St. Bonaventure. Two of Macrae's three goals came after Monmouth fell behind 10-7 and helped the Hawks mount their second straight comeback win. Macrae has at least one point in all three games this season and has six points on the year (4G, 2A).
