Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Prince Forson, Iona
Sr., Bronx, NY /Archbishop Stepinac
Prince Forson ran a 10.99 in the 100-meter winning the race at the Fordham season-opening event. It is his fastest time in the event since the MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in May of 2019. It is the fastest time for the event by any MAAC competitor yet this season.
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Olivia Lomascolo, Siena
Jr., Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa
Lomascolo began the 2021 outdoor track campaign by winning the women's 3000-meter race at the UB Mid-Week Invitational with a personal best time of 10:00.72. The mark now stands as the second-best time in Siena program history in the event.
Men’s Field Performer of the Week
Chris Putnam, Monmouth
Sr., Massapequa, NY/Massapequa
Chris Putnam registered a 64.68 javelin throw and is ranked 7th in the East region.
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Kalli’ana Botelho, Quinnipiac
Jr., Voluntown, Conn./Griswold
Kalli'ana Botelho led the Bobcats at the Villanova Open on Friday, March 19 with a first place finish in the high jump (1.60m).
