Iona Sweeps the Final Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award Winners

Juana Camilion paced the Gaels in a sweep of the Monmouth Hawks in the season's final two games on Thursday and Friday. Camilion scored 19 points on Thursday, making six-of-nine shots from the floor including three of her six attempts from three-point range.
She stuffed the stat sheet in the regular season finale, leading the Gaels with 14 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal. The junior finished the season averaging 3.5 steals per game, the best mark in the MAAC and third best in the nation.
Rookie of the Week
Jenae Dublin, Iona
Fr.,Suitland, MD/Gwynn Park
Jenae Dublin had a career night in her final appearance of the regular season, helping the Gaels to a victory over Monmouth on Thursday night. The rookie from Suitland, Maryland set new career highs with 15 points, seven field goals made, four blocks and four steals.
