Siena’s Pickett and Marist’s Wright Named Final Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Award Winners of 2020-2021

Pickett posted a stellar week to close out the regular season, averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in the Saints' two games vs. Canisius. The junior guard shot 56% from the field including 54% from three-point range, while connecting for seven triples. On Thursday, he shot a season-best 5-8 from distance for 15 points, while adding seven rebounds and six assists. On Friday, Pickett posted season-highs of 23 points on 9-14 shooting and eight assists, while adding five rebounds.

Ricardo Wright, Marist
Fr., Eustis, FL/The Villages Charter
Wright finished with 19 points and eight rebounds in Marist's lone game last week, a 65-52 triumph over Quinnipiac. His 19 points were a game high, and his eight rebounds tied both game and career highs. Marist led by two at halftime, but Wright scored the Red Foxes' first eight points of the second half to expand the margin.
