Iona’s Burkhamer and Quinnipiac’s Peralta Named Levy Recognition MAAC Golf Weekly Award Winners
Men’s Golfer of the Week
Justin Burkhamer, Iona

Justin Burkhamer finished tied for first place individually at the Battle at Rum Pointe at Rum Pointe Golf Course in Ocean City, MD. Burkhamer shot a 36-hole total of 143 (-1), including a tournament best 69 (-3) on Sunday to wrap it up. The Gaels finished seventh as a team at the event.

Leeyen Peralta, Quinnipiac

Reigning MAAC Golfer of the Week Leeyen Peralta claimed her second-straight tournament victory after shooting 71 at the Hartford/Wintonbury Invitational on Friday. This is the second round of 72 or better for Peralta this season.
With two wins on the season, Peralta is one victory shy of tying Luciana Tobia for the program's single-season record.
Quinnipiac earned first place on the team leaderboard with an overall score of 301 (+21).
