Niagara’s Crane and Quinnipiac’s George Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week
EDISON, N.J. (April 14, 2021) – Niagara’s Rachel Crane and Quinnipiac’s Demitri George have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Redshirt freshman Rachel Crane leads the Purple Eagles in points with 20. Crane has nine goals and 11 points in the last two games, including a career-high six goals and two assists versus Iona on March 27. The Rochester, N.Y. native is majoring in Biology.
Demitri George
Quinnipiac
Men’s Lacrosse
George has dominated the faceoff circle this season for the Bobcats, winning 74-of-97 (76.3%) of his attempts – which ranks No. 2 nationally. The junior has also scored three goals for the Bobcats. George has been on an impressive stretch over Quinnpiac’s last three games, scoring all three of his goals and winning 53-of-65 faceoff attempts in that span. He also leads the Bobcats in ground balls (20) – ranking No. 7 nationally in ground balls per game.
