EDISON, N.J. (Apr. 2, 2021) –
 Seven member institutions from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) came together both virtually and in-person to compete in the 2021 MAAC Swimming & Diving Spring Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday. Iona College was victorious on both the men’s and women’s side of the meet, with each team topping the overall leaderboard with scores of 733 points and 734.5 points, respectively.

The 2021 MAAC Swimming & Diving Spring Invitational was a two-day, multi-site event featuring competitors from Canisius College, Fairfield University, Iona College, Manhattan College, Monmouth University, Niagara University, and Rider University. Rider participated in the invitational virtually from their own campus.
 
Following Iona in the women’s overall standings was Canisius in second place with 525 points. Niagara finished third overall with 497.5 points. Rounding out the top five were Fairfield (415) and Monmouth (382).
 
On the men’s side of the meet, Fairfield placed second in the overall standings with 581.5 points. Monmouth wrapped up in third place with 476, with Niagara (463.5) not far behind in fourth place. Canisius rounds out the top five with 386 points.
