Siena College (6-1-2, 4-0-1 MAAC) fell to Arizona State University (9-5-2, 4-4-2 PAC-12) by a score of 4-0 in the First round the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship. The Saints who were the 2020-21 MAAC Women’s Soccer Champions made their third appearance in the NCAA Tournament after being selected to finish in eighth place in the MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

- MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year Leslie Adams made six saves while facing 24 shots.
- Emily McNelis and Jayanna Monds each registered a team-high two shots. Freshman Melina Ortiz registered the Saints’ only shot on goal.
- The Saints were had three corner kicks to the Sun Devils six.
- In the 31st minute Grace George sent in a cross that skimmed the crossbar.
