Offensive Player of the Week
Emily McNelis, Siena
Jr., Northport, NY/Northport
McNelis totaled four points on a pair of goals, including a game-winner, to lead Siena to an undefeated three-match week. The junior midfielder netted the game-winning goal in Tuesday's victory at Saint Peter's. After registering a match-high seven shots in Thursday's win at Niagara, McNelis scored the equalizer to rally the Saints to a 1-1 draw against MAAC Preseason favorite Monmouth Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week
Leslie Adams, Siena
Jr., Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley
Adams totaled 14 saves while posting a 0.90 goals-against average and a .875 save percentage in registering a win and a tie last week. The junior keeper made three saves in Tuesday's win at Saint Peter's. On Saturday, she recorded a season-high 11 saves to lead the Saints to a 1-1 draw against MAAC Preseason favorite Monmouth.
Rookie of the Week
Elle Scott, Fairfield
Fr., Ashby, MA/Fitchburg High School
Scott continued her impressive rookie season with her first collegiate goal and dished out her third assist of the season. Scott ran down a thru ball and made a move to get space from her defender and launched a shot past the keeper in the first half. She also garnered one of the assists on Fairfield's first goal.
