Manhattan's Padre Named To CoSIDA Academic All-District® Baseball First Team

Indianapolis, IN - Senior Matt Padre (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) was named to the 2021 Academic All-District® Baseball First Team, selected by CoSIDA, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
First-Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and Second-Team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late July.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
Padre, who graduated in May with a degree in accounting, entered the spring semester with 3.94 GPA, and earned All-MAAC Second Team honors after batting .264 with three doubles, one home run, 13 RBI and a team-best 31 walks.
