Iona's season starts on the road at
Bryant on November 9. The two teams will meet for the fourth time in program history. Iona won the first meeting back in November of 2011.

The Gaels return to the Hynes Center to host Winthrop on November 13, in what will be the second meeting between the two schools. The Maroon & Gold opened up the 2019-20 season with a 68-61 win in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

On November 16, Iona travels to the Mullins Center in Amherst, Massachusetts to face UMass. The two sides met once before, a 14-point victory for the visitors at the Hynes Center during the 2019-20 season. UMass lost to VCU in the Atlantic-10 Championship last season and went on to win the Women's National Invitational Tournament Consolation Final over Ohio.

The Gaels then return to New Rochelle for a pair of home games, hosting Stony Brook on November 20 and Bucknell on November 23. Iona and Stony Brook will meet for the 14th time, with the Seawolves holding a slight 8-5 edge in the series history. The Maroon & Gold and the Bison face off for the ninth time in program history, with the Gaels looking for their sixth win in the series history.

December begins with a road game at Seton Hall on the first of the month. Iona visits South Orange, New Jersey for the first time since the 2006-07 season, looking for its first win over the Pirates in program history.

Iona hosts Wagner on December 4 in its final home non-conference contest. The meeting will be the 17th in the series' history, with the Maroon & Gold looking for a sixth-straight victory and 13th overall over the Seahawks.

The Gaels head to historic Carnesecca Arena in Jamaica, New York to meet St. John's on December 8. For Iona, it is the 17th meeting with the Red Storm. Non-conference play concludes on the road at Sacred Heart on December 12. The Gaels took down the Pioneers last season inside the Hynes Center, 72-64. Iona owns a 7-3 edge in the series history, dating back to the 1977-78 season.
