Svecula scored the game-winner this past week for the Bobcats against ACC foe Boston College. Svecula drew a foul inside the box in the 66th minute, then buried the penalty kick for the game-winning goal. The junior's goal was the 10th of his career. He scored six times in 2019 as a first-year student, netted three goals during the spring 2021 campaign, then netted the game-winner for QU on Thursday vs. Boston College.

The Bobcats' keeper made seven saves in a 2-1 win over ACC foe Boston College on Thursday, allowing just one goal in the season opener.
Rookie of the Player of the Week
Frederic Storodegard, Siena
Fr, Baerums Verk, Norway, Donski Videregaende Skole
Storodegard scored what would be the deciding goal for the Saints in his first collegiate match, threading a right-side goal in the 32nd minute of Siena's 2-1 over Sacred Heart on Thursday.
