EDISON, N.J. (September 1, 2021) – Monmouth’s Lauren Karabin and Siena’s Antonio Linge have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

A transfer entering his third season with the Saints, Linge has been a consistent presence on the team's back line since arriving in Loudonville in 2019. The Cottbus, Germany native has started in all 26 matches over the past two years, totaling two goals and an assist during that time for five total points. He totaled 14 shots over two seasons, with both of his goals scored coming against Quinnipiac.
Linge has also been a top performer in the classroom, holding a perfect 4.0 GPA entering his redshirt-junior season. The business major has been a MAAC All-Academic Team and MAAC Academic Honor Roll honoree, as well as a member of Siena's 4.0 Club.

Senior captain Lauren Karabin has sparked Monmouth to a 4-0-0 start, its best since the 2015 season. Karabin has scored three goals, including game-winners against Delaware and Lehigh, and is one of two Hawks to play a full 90 minutes in every game. Dating back to last season, Monmouth is unbeaten in its last nine games (7-0-2) and Karabin has scored five goals and four game winners during that stretch.
