Quinnipiac outlasted Rider, 73-67 on Wednesday night at the People's United Center in Hamden. The win for the Bobcats was the fifth MAAC victory of the season, the second most league wins by a team this season. Kevin Marfo recorded his seventh double-double of the season scoring 16 points and pulling in 17 rebounds. Matt Balanc (16), Jacob Rigoni (11), and Dezi Jones (10) also scored in double figures for Quinnipiac. Mervin James scored a season-high 24 points, while Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson chipped in with 13 points and Jeremiah Pope added 10 points for Rider.
