In a 2-0 week for the Bobcats, Free averaged 20.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Free earned her first start of the season and totaled 19 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and four steals in a win at Saint Peter's on Monday. She followed that performance with a season-high 21 points and added eight rebounds in a home victory over Manhattan on Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Aaliyah Parker, Niagara
Fr., Cheektowaga, NY, Cardinal O’Hara High School
Niagara freshman Aaliyah Parker averaged 16.7 points (52.6 FG%), 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game as the Purple Eagles finished the week 1-2. In the comeback win against Rider, the freshman dropped a season-high 22 points, going 8-for-14 from the field, while also grabbing five rebounds. At Monmouth, Parker grabbed seven boards to go with 14 points and at Marist the forward scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds.
