Manhattan Gets Back into Win Column with Win Over Saint Peter’s

EDISON, NJ (January 26, 2022) – After losing three straight last week, the Manhattan College women’s basketball team got back into the win column on Tuesday night with a 66-56 win over Saint Peter’s at the Yanitelli Center.

The Manhattan College women’s basketball team defeated Saint Peter’s on the road last night behind 20 points from junior Dee Dee Davis and graduate Courtney Warley’s MAAC-leading seventh double-double of the season (13 points, 11 rebounds). The Jaspers dominated the first half and held a 34-17 lead at half and never looked back. Brazil Harvey-Carr scored 12 points and Jenna Jordan added 10 for Manhattan. Three Peacocks scored double-figures including a team-high 13 points for Kendrea Williams, 11 points from Nickelle O’Neil and 10 points from Binta Salawu. 
 
The 2021-22 campaign culminates with the 2022 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 8-12 at Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
