Olivia Vezaldenos scored her 1,000-career collegiate point in Iona’s 63-40 win on Saturday evening over Rider. Juana Camilion and Ketsia Athias led the scoring for the Gaels with 13 points apiece and Thoranna Hodge-Carr scored 10 points. For the Broncs, Raphaela Touissant was the only player to score in double-figures as she finished with 13 points and nine rebounds.

The Quinnipiac women's basketball team completed a 26-point comeback to extend its win streak to four straight games, as the Bobcats defeated Niagara on the road, 85-79, Saturday afternoon inside of the Gallagher Center. The 26-point comeback is the second largest comeback in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history. Jackie Grisdale led the way with career-highs of 26 points and four assists, while Mackenzie DeWees added 18 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals eight rebounds in the victory. Grace LaBarge and Amani Free added 10 points each as well. Aaliyah Parker led the Purple Eagles with 16 points, Olivia Mason finished with 14 and Angel Parker and Ally Haar each scored 13 points.

Sophomore Dani Haskell scored a team-high 24 points to pace Canisius in a nail-biting 81-78 victory over Siena in MAAC women's basketball action at the Koessler Athletic Center Saturday afternoon. As a team, Canisius made 15 shots from beyond the arc, establishing a program record. The previous record was 14, set on Dec. 28, 2008, against Detroit Mercy. Along with her 24 points, Haskell made five 3-pointers to match her career-high while adding a single-game best five assists. Freshmen Athina Lexa and Lydia Gattozzi chipped in with 12 points apiece for the Griffs. Rayshel Brown led Siena in points and rebounds with 24 in the scoring column and seven boards. Selena Philoxy finished with 20 points, Margo Peterson scored 12 and Valencia Fontenelle-Posson scored 10 points.
