EDISON, NJ (January 9, 2021) – The Fairfield University women’s basketball team earned its MAAC-leading fourth win to stay perfect in conference play, while Manhattan earned its fifth overall win at home to stay perfect in Riverdale, NY. Quinnipiac earned a 68-51 victory over Siena to end a two-game skid.

Lou Lopez-Senechal registered yet another dominant performance scoring 27 points on 11-of-22 shooting in a 62-44 victory for Fairfield over Rider on Saturday evening. Callie Cavanaugh contributed 11 points and eight rebounds, while Andrea Hernangomez scored 10 points. Fairfield won the turnover battle, 18-3. Raphaela Toussaint was the only Bronc to score in double-figures with 12 points.

The Manhattan College Jaspers held the Marist College Red Foxes to just 27-percent shooting and forced 18 turnovers in a 72-45 win on Saturday afternoon in Draddy Gymnasium. Courtney Warley grabbed eight rebounds to put her over 1,000 for her career. Brazil Harvey-Carr put up a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds while Dee Dee Davis led the Jaspers with 23 points. For the Red Foxes, Trinasia Kennedy scored a team-high 15 points to go along with Zaria Shazer’s 13 points.

The Quinnipiac University women's basketball team saw four players reach double-figures in scoring, as the Bobcats defeated the Siena College Saints, 68-51 on Saturday afternoon inside of the UHY Center. Mackenzie DeWees and Mikala Morris each recorded a double-double in the victory; DeWees with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Morris scored 10 points and grabbed 12 boards. Sajada Bonner scored 13 points and Amani Free put up 12 points, respectively. Siena outscored Quinnipiac 31-30 in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome their first half deficit. Selena Philoxy led the way for the Saints with a double-double scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, while Rayshel Brown contributed 10 points.
