Offensive Player of the Week
Emma Oliphant, Canisius

Oliphant tallied five points on two goals and an assist in helping guide Canisius to a 3-0 victory against Saint Peter's on Oct. 8. She notched the first two goals of her collegiate career in the win versus the Peacocks and added her third career assist in the victory. Oliphant scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 25th minute and assisted on the insurance marker in the 47th minute before closing out the scoring with an unassisted effort in the 59th minute.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jessica Jones, Canisius
Jr., Morgantown, WV, Morgantown
Jones did not allow a goal in 180 minutes of action, helping pace Canisius to a 1-0-1 record last week. She made a combined seven saves in a win against Saint Peter's and a tie versus Siena. Jones extended her personal shutout streak to more than 350 minutes with her pair of clean sheets during the week. She recorded four stops in a 0-0 draw against the Saints on Oct. 5, and followed that effort with a three-save shutout versus Saint Peter's on Oct. 8.
Rookie of the Week
Maddy Theriault, Fairfield
Fr., Palmer, MA, Palmer
Theriault tallied a goal and an assist in Fairfield's win over Manhattan. The freshman headed in the first score of the match and then sent the cross that resulted in Fairfield's third goal. Theriault leads the team with five goals and is tied for the team lead with 13 points.
The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
