Player of the Week
Aryanah Diaz, Quinnipiac

In a 2-1 week for the Bobcats, Diaz averaged a stellar 5.41 points, 4.55 kills and 2.09 digs per set. Diaz tallied 50 kills, 23 digs and nine service aces in three matches. Diaz recorded double-figure kills in all three matches and posted a double-double of 20 kills and 15 digs against Siena.

Libero of the Week
Bree Long, Canisius
Sr., Temperance, MI, Bedford

Bree Long had another strong week posting 50 digs with an average of 5.56 digs per set during the Griffs 1-1 weekend. Long had 22 digs against Marist and a weekend-high 28 against Siena. Long also posted five service aces with four against Marist, one kill, and five assists on offense.

Rookie of the Week
Ella Bourque, Canisius
Fr., Yorkville, IL, Yorkville

Ella Bourque had another impressive weekend, totaling 10.11 assists per set with over 40 in both her matches (43 at Marist and 48 at Siena). Also of offense, she had four service aces, five kills and averaged 1.39 points per set. On defense, the freshman setter had 18 digs for an average of 2.00 per set, six total blocks with an average of .67 per set.

The 2022 MAAC Volleyball Championship takes place from November 16 through 19 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The 10-team, single-elimination championship will feature four rounds of action with the opening round taking place on Wednesday, November 16, followed by the quarterfinals on Thursday, November 17, the semifinals on Friday, November 18, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 19.
