EDISON, NJ (Oct. 19, 2022) – Manhattan’s Kaya Simpson and Fairfield’s Addy Douglas have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Men’s Track & Field
Simpson serves as Manhattan’s SAAC President and has been a driving force behind student-athletes getting more involved in the community. In conjunction with the rest of SAAC, Simpson, organized student-athlete participation in Tunnel To Towers and the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk. On the track, Simpson, is a sprinter who last year was a part of the Jaspers 4x100 team that took bronze at the MAAC Championships. They also won the same event at the Metropolitan Championships.

Women’s Golf
Senior, Addy Douglas, has earned a pair of top finishes to help lead the Stags' women's golf team this fall, including a runner-up finish Monday at the SHU Fall Invitational. The Newport, R.I. native boasts a 3.60 GPA as a Finance major in the Dolan School of Business, continuing to help lead the program on the course and in the classroom.
