In two matches this week, Johnson, totaled 37 kills, 24 digs, and had a perfect serve percentage. Over the course of 9 sets, Johnson, averaged 4.11 kills, 2.67 digs, and 0.89 blocks. This marks the second time this season Johnson has been named Player of the Week.


Libero of the Week
Hope Matschner, Iona
Jr., Winter Springs, FL, Winter Springs

In three matches this week, Matschner, totaled 102 digs, 11 assists and a perfect serving percentage. In Saturday’s comeback victory against Marist, Matschner, recorded 32 digs and 4 assists. This is Matschner’s sixth Libero of the Week selection on the season.


Rookie of the Week
Ella Bourque, Canisius
Fr., Yorkville, IL, Yorkville

Ella Bourque had another impressive weekend, totaling 92 assists and 13 digs. Bourque also finished this week of competition with averages of 10.22 assists per set and 1.44 digs per set and chipped in three kills. This marks the seventh time Bourque has earned Rookie of the Week honors.
 

The 2022 MAAC Volleyball Championship takes place from November 16 through 19 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The 10-team, single-elimination championship will feature four rounds of action with the opening round taking place on Wednesday, November 16, followed by the quarterfinals on Thursday, November 17, the semifinals on Friday, November 18, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 19.
