MAAC Announces 2022 Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team
EDISON, NJ (Oct. 31, 2022) – A total of 155 student-athletes earned 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team honors, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Quinnipiac led all MAAC schools with a league-best 21 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Each school in the conference placed at least ten honorees on the team. Manhattan placed 18 student-athletes on the team. Fairfield added 16 athletes, followed by Rider and Marist with 15 honorees. Mount St. Mary’s and Canisius each added 13 athletes, Siena added 12, Iona and Saint Peter’s both added 11 and Niagara closed out the team with 10 All-Academic honorees.

The 2022 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship will take place from October 30 through November 6. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by the higher seed of each match. The opening round will take place on Sunday, October 30, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 3, and concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 6.
